You want extreme? Squeeze into that buoyancy aid, strap on the protective helmet and grip your paddle very tightly - you're going for a wet and wild ride! After a briefing and technique familiarisation session, you take the plunge down river. Great fun!Training from an experienced instructorSafety briefing and issue of buoyancy aids and helmetsIntroduction to correct paddling techniques and commandsOne or more river runs depending on local water conditionsAllow 2 hours for your visitExperience gift box including smart wallet, personalised voucher, message card and single use cameraPA cover to a value of 50,000 plus cancellation indemnityWhat happens on the day:Prompt arrival is essential if you miss the safety briefing you will not be able to raft. When you arrive, you will normally be asked to sign an indemnity form which will also require parental/guardian signature for under 18s. As part of a small group you will be given an initial group briefing, and then issued with the necessary safety equipment and buoyancy aid. Instruction in the raft, including paddling technique and commands. Then a run down the rapids.Need to know:Minimum age 12-18 depending on location (under 18s need parental/guardian consent)You should be in reasonable health, a confident swimmer and agile enough to climb into the raftMaximum weight 15-18 stones (102kgs) depending on location Course note: Some seasonal closures.
